Thanks for the lovely evening yesterday at the KDE Plasma 6 release party. The cubes are back and wobbly windows. There was also a nice spontaneously "screensaver" 😋.
It was also a nice opportunity to see the offline. Very cool place. Will probably go there again.

Erstens ist nicht ausgeschlossen, dass aus den unmittelbar daneben liegenden verunreinigten Bereichen Schlamm zum sanierten Bereich rüber schwemmt.
Zweitens ist langfristig auch keine Sanierung für den restlichen (wesentlich größeren) Teil der Bucht vorgesehen.
Trotzdem natürlich eine spannende Frage!
In der Nikolaikirche gibt es gerade eine lustige kleine Ausstellung von Mark Dion über Spielzeug. Ich hab so manches wieder entdeckt was ich in meiner Kindheit hatte. Die Infobroschüre dazu ist auch sehr lesenwert.

Gestern einen Artikel im Tagesspiegel gelesen das die Stadtfarm in Lichtenberg eventuell schließen muss wenn kein neues Konzept gefunden wird. Es war wohl eine Kombination aus weggebrochener Kundschaft und gestiegener Energiekosten. Letzteres verwundert mich nicht so sehr da die Stadtfarm ja Aquaponik betreibt und die Becken auf 28°C geheizt werden müssen. Es wäre schade wenn die schließen müssen. Das Konzept finde ich sehr gut (auch wenn es eigentlich uralt ist wie die "chinampas" in Mexiko) und ich bin gerne dort (auch wegen schönen Fotomotiven). Happy new year!
2023 was a weird year for me with highs and lows. I made the experiment to journal what i did the last year and in review I was astonished that i reached more goals as i thought and also some I completely missed. That helped me to focus on new goals and resolutions.
Last year I lost dear family members and friends but also meet new people and saw some new places. Let's see what this year will have in store.
Although, I am not so optimistic about the recent political developments, I am still looking forward into the new year as there are exciting new developments on the horizon for me. Cool new projects and (hopefully) more time for photography.

Woke up in the middle of the night because of the heavy rain and thunder. I spontaniously tried my luck again to catch some lightning bolts on #polaroid . This time i had the feeling the gods were mocking me. Really beautiful lightnings i slightly missed in my frame or so many of them that it totally overexposured the picture. When the rain stopped and the silence came back with only some sheet lightning very far away i decided to put my camera back, when suddenly i really beautiful lightning appeared with really wide ramifications and arcs. I felt cheated...

Got my film back from the lab. I tested my rescued Kodak Retinette 2B during the #cccamp23 and did some #longtimeexposure. Here i made some on the harbour. However, this result really surprised me and it is one of my favorites. The orange squiggly lines that are all over the place are probably from moths. The LEDs were bright and the angle correct enough to reflect the light. I didn't expect that the #moths had so much impact on the #Analogfilm . #Adox Color Mission was used
(The other explanation could also be that the shutter didn't close correctly and when i picked up my tripod i accidently still 'painted' the light? Not sure what exactly happend here)

That was a long day. Protested / danced 7 hours yesterday on the #tanzdemo, slept for 3 hours, flew to #Stockholm, made a long phototour and at the end socialized with people who came here as well for the Nordic Domain Days (#NDD).
I am curious what the event will bring and I hope I will have the energy to do some night pictures of Stockholm.
Repairing an old Adox Golf 2c
So i rescued this old #Adox Golf 2c #camera from a smoker household. I removed most of the nicotin stains as possible (gross...) and fixed the closing of the back. The bellow however had some small holes in it. I had three runs with some Plastidip and i fixed every hole that i could perceive. If the weather gets a bit better i will throw some #ilford #Kentmere into it for a final test.
Does somebody know a good way to remove the rest of the nicotin stains on the metallic parts? Or is there a way to paint it?

Nschdem ich jetzt nun paarmal gefragt wurde wo im #fediverse ich unterwegs bin dachte ich mir wenn dann schon lieber gleich ne eigene Instanz aufsetzen.
Jetzt nur noch schauen wie ich meine Pixelfed Instanz aufhübschen kann. Das find ich bisher noch anstrengender als die Friendica Instanz aufzusetzen aber hey:
